Overview:
The Barnardos Internship offers a unique opportunity to work within various departments, providing meaningful contributions that directly impact the communities we serve. This is a position that would offer hands-on experience, professional development and deeper insight into not-for-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning for community outreach programs in different towns or locations.
- Participate in marketing campaigns designed at raising funds from donors.
- Do research on projects for reports that will be used by project teams.
- Have collaboration with other team members when it comes to project works and events.
- Provide support services which include data entry and documentation.
- Conduct discussions during team meetings on strategies.
Requirements:
All candidates applying for this position must show their loyalty towards this organization’s vision. They should also have strong writing skills either through verbal communication or written documents and as well possess ability to work comfortably in groups. Other key requirements are efficiency at multitasking, being able to organize oneself properly but quickly. Knowledge on how to use Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as basic data management is necessary.

Qualifications:
- Currently attending or having just completed any relevant degree program e.g. Criminology, social work, marketing and non- profit management.
